How can I put a judgement on someone's credit report?
You don't. The credit bureaus generally pick up judgements from court records.
I won the case last year but can I take any money from her job. If they want to take this to a higher court how long do I have to wait. It has been about four months and I have not heard from my lawyer in three months. I called and he is never there and I had email him three times and he never answer my emails. I never had the lady's home phone number and anytime I called her cell and left a message she said she never received it. What do you think I should do, the amount is $5,000.
You have to find her assets on your own, you can garnish her wages once you find out where her works.
You have a judgement. If you can find her bank account or where she works, you can obtain a garnishment order from the courts and serve it on the bank or her employer.
We do not know were she works or her bank, she never gave us her home or work number. All we know she works at a hair dresser. We do not have her S.S. number.

Hire a lawyer to do an asset search. When you find an asset, attach it. Plus, unless you won a default judgment, you had to have an address for her in order to sue her.
What's the lawyers name? The world should be warned about him.

We have her home address but she never gave us her home phone just her cell and she never answers it. We search the web and she had a few address because she had own about three homes. So if we go to the court house with the judgment we can put a lien on her house. They wanted to take the case to a higher court but that was five months ago. I am always out of town.
It depends on the nature of the debt whether you can file a lien against her personal residence. You might be able to file one against any investment property she owns. But that means you have to wait until the sale to get the lien satisfied.

Here's my advice. You either pursue her in a managed, concerted manner with all the resources an effort like that requires, or write it off as a bad lesson.
You're doing neither! You're dangling around in the in between world - you're out of town, the lawyer doesn't do anything, five months pass. Sir, nothing gets done in the in between world.
You need a lawyer who will act! I don't blame you. You don't have one. Fire his sorry butt! Hire somebody who WILL fight the good fight for you. Take charge. TELL your lawyer what you want him to do! He's your EMPLOYEE - just like the guy who takes out the trash. If the guy missed some trash, you'd do something about. Do something about this.
First off - many lawyers, who might be great at the law, are lousy when it comes to business. When they get behind, like any of us, they grease the squeaky wheel. You're not squeaky enough.
Ok, get squeaky, and get squeaky quick. Send an email followed with a certified letter, return receipt requested. In your letter, DEMAND that he contact you within 48 hours, or he will be fired, sued for malpractice, and a complaint will be placed with his local bar association.
That should get his attention. If he doesn't respond, DO what you said you would do. MANAGE the next lawyer you hire in the same way. Or even better - shop well for your next lawyer, and you won't have to yell at him.

I had talked to about 4 or 5 lawyers and they say they either can not help or they know the mortgage co who goofed everything up. The mortgage co has a brother who is a lawyer. Can I filed the paper work myself?

Go to the county where the deed is registered and talk to someone in the county clerk's office. They should be able to tell you whether you can file a lien on the home with the judgement you have and what paperwork is required.

Having the judgment on HER credit report ISN'T GOING TO GET YOU A DIME! Besides, the credit bureaus pick up information from THEIR OWN sources. ScottGem told you that. YOU are not one of their sources. EVEN if you mailed a copy of her judgment to ALL three bureaus, they'll just throw them away.

The lawyers and mortgage co. are all friends and now my lawyer said he will not help me. No other lawyer in Easton Pa. will take the case. I like to thank you for your help if you know of anything I can do please let me know. Maria Rex lives with her boyfriend in his house and I do not know were she works.
