It's my 1st day of my period and it is brown and really light. Is that normal? Should I be worried?

No, most likely it is just your period getting ready to start in earnest. Some women will have the brown discharge at the start of a period, some at the end, some at both. It can happen with some periods but not with others as well.

As long as your period does actually start, it is normal.
