Disorderly conduct while on probation which states underage drinking
I I'm on probation for two years and received a citation for a disorderly conduct which states I had been drinking. I am nineteen in PA. Will I go to jail for this?

    Hello j:

I don't know. There's a lot MORE factors that go into those decisions than you've presented... But, the first thing you need to do is report the arrest to your PO. The second thing you need to do is hire a lawyer.

If you are convicted of the underage drinking chances are pretty good you'll go to jail for the probation violation. Be sure to tell your PO right away about this new charge because if you don't tell the PO ahead of time and they end up finding out about this new charge you're automatically violated. You need to go back and reread your original sentencing paperwork about what's going to happen to you if you violate your probation. The Judge has conveniently thought ahead and he's spelled it out in great detail what awaits you once you are in front of him again at a probation violation hearing. Go check your paperwork. If you don't have your paperwork call the Clerk or go there in person and get a copy for 25 cents.

So much is just maybe, if you are on probation for armed robbery, and this was a minor issue, they may do nothing.

If your original crime had to do with being drunk or drinking, then yes they may look at it even more seriously as continuing to do the same crimes.

But at this point that makes no difference you can't change the fact you broke the rules. So you report it, ( or that is another automatic violation) and as noted get an attorney
