I took my last pill on Tuesday of this week, its now Friday and I still haven't gotten my period. I know it says that this birthconrtol is suppose to make your periods shorter but I only have 2 days still I start my new pack and my period before last around 4 or 5 days. I took a test last night and it was negative but I still haven't gotten my period.

Most likely it is your body responding to the pill. It can effect women differently. Continue to take your pills as normal.
You can always try another test in about a week.

No, it is not thought to pose any substantial risk. Many women become pregnant while on the pill, but obviously one would stop if a pregnancy was confirmed.

Think of it this way... because hormonal forms of birth control can cause a change in periods for many women, at times stoppng them altogether, women would always be in a constant state of not wanting to use them due to concern of being pregnant.

All right thank you, but if I keep taking the pill should I expect to get my period at some point or does this mean I won't get it all until I done with this pack?
