If a trust is set up. How do you find out the names of the people covered under that trust?

Trusts are not necessarily public documents.

How do you know about the trust? Do you know the name of the trustee or the trustor, and if so have you asked either of those people?

I am an electrician who did work for a business and I'm trying to find all his properties so I can put a Materials lien on him and when I bring up the business and his home it is under a trust, ex. Tanglewood trust.

You looked online under the description of the property? Tax assessor's database?

Doesn't it give the address? I don't know that you have to give the name of the trustee to file a materials lien. Simply the name of the trust, address, etc. When the trust wants to sell or refiance the property, the lien will show on their title report and they will have to deal with you.

As you probably know, a mechanic's or materialman's lien only lasts for a few months in many states. You will have to sue them within that time.

You don't put the lien "on him". The lien attaches to the property where the materials were installed. If you don't know which property that is, your material lien statute may allow you to lien all real property in the area. You'd have to check.
