Credit Card debt, deffense when credit is cut off without notice and bank sues?
Had 8 credit cards with all balances less than 50% and most banks cut off the lines to balances owed.
I was never late on a payment and the accounts were very seasoned. We used the line to keep our business running.
Some were corporate but all were guaranteed by me personally.
I quit paying and the harassment started for the past 5 months. Now I have received the 1st lawsuit from Chase.
I still have a chance of settling if certain business deals come through but I need time.
Any advise would be helpful on how to hold them off less a bankruptcy or taking a judgement.

When you quit paying you automatically went into default. They have the right to try and collect as much as they are able via legal means. Not paying at all was a bad move on your part.
