Which battery is preferable for use in a car.A dry cell or a wet cell battery?
I'm trying to get a new battery for a mercedes benz and I don't which one to pick among the two.some say the wet cell battery is better but I still want to be sure. So,between the wet cell and dry cell battery, which one is really more efficient and preferable for use in a car? Which one picks up faster and can better withstand cold weather?*** someone help me out;I don't want to make any mistakes.Thanks.

I'd go with a traditional wet cell battery, which is plenty good enough and much cheaper. Ensure you charge the new battery, prior to installation. Every new battery needs to be charged first--it helps prevent burning out the voltage regulator.

I have used both and see no real difference between the two in performance.
