I own a home in PA but I rent an apt. in FL for the full year and worked in FL. Do I need to file a PA income tax return on the money earned in FL?

Did you rent the PA home and get income from it?
If you are a FL resident, then your PA home is considered to be a second home, or vacation home, and you do not owe PA any tax on money not earned in PA. To ScottGem's point - if you rented out your PA home then that would be considered PA-source income, and would be taxable by PA.
In order to make the case that you are a FL resident it would be wise to (a) get a FL drivers license, (b) register to vote in FL, and (c) use the FL address on all tax correspondence. If you recently moved to FL be sure to file a part-year resident tax return in PA.
