Missed period, still not showing pregnant
My Husband and I are currently trying to conceive. I am currently 13-15 days late of my period. I have taken several hpt's that all show negative. I am moody, have been getting frequent headaches and cramping for about two weeks. Approximately 8-9 days post ovulation I had slight abnormal spotting for about 3-4 days. I haven't been able to get in to the doctor due to the holidays and was hoping for some input from some of you who may have been in a similar situation. Could I be pregnant? Why would I still be testing negative if I am? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Depends on if all procedures in the test kit were followed accurately. Cramps, etc. could be sign of stress or abnormality. Hopefully you can get in to see someone today. And if you're not, don't let this crash your mood.

Thanks! I've got the testing thing down to a science at this point. I think I've taken about 5 different tests in the last two weeks. I was a little stressed over the holidays, but forced myself to relax. Now, everything is back to normal... except for AF. I think I allowed myself to become a bit depressed about it at first (just not knowing one way or the other). I have definitely relaxed a lot since. I think I am just concerned that something may be wrong if I'm not pregnant, and if I am I had never heard of tests still showing negative after this much time passing.

I want to be sure you are taking your HPTs first thing in the morning. This is when the concentration of HCG (pregnancy hormone) is at its highest concentration, if in fact you are pregnant.

Some tests say that they can be taken at any time of day, however, this is the best chance for getting a positive if you are pregnant.

Yes, I am using ONLY fmu. Other than having some cramping in the morning and evening I have no signs of AF. I've been getting cramps for probably two-three weeks now. I just started getting breast tenderness yesterday, it was gone this morning, and it is now back this evening. Any advice? THanks so much!
