I have a Acura Integra 1999 model with 113K miles on it. The engine checklight came on last week and when I took the diagnostics the code was P1999. However I do not see any documentation on that code online. Can anyone tell me what the code means?

That code doesn't appear to apply to your car.
What brand scan tool are you using? Generic scan tools can sometimes generate false codes. You may want to double check with a different code reading device.
Meanwhile, what are your other symptoms? What's the car doing?

The car is as normal as it was before. The mechanics recommended that I change the spark plugs and wires. I am not sure if that would solve the problem.
