That's great he is sleeping in his own cot. Cross your fingers, saray. If he complains reinforce that he should sleep by himself, it is where he should be to instill independence. You have to ignore the complaining for the good of his welfare.
Let him go with the flow let him used to it first let go near it a lot then when you think he's[in two months] put him in
I had the impression from your other posts that you are a child, or very young teen. Can I ask what experience you have with parenting, much less with parenting an infant?
Where did you get the information you posted? Do you have a link to the source you used, or are you just winging it?
Establish a bedtime routine with him and give him sometime to get adjusted. He may or may not do well from the start. Around 7 months some babies can start to show some separation anxiety and have a difficult time being away from you, especially when it is not what he is used to. Does he still have a feed in the night?
See how it goes... sooth him if necessary, try to keep any night interaction very low key... low lights, not much talking, change, feed, lay him back down. If he starts to stir, wait until he is fully awake before going in, he may just need a bit of time to settle himself back down.
