Can premature children be very intelligent but immature
My Granson was born at 27 weeks,we think he is intelligent but his behavior is worrying.Nothing is grey,he says what he thinks and does what he wants,I don't think he is just being bad he really does'n't understand, he is bullied at school because he does and says what he wants. He is so quick at any computer or computer game or TV and if it interests him he will read a book all the way through but his social skills are none

Just because a child was born prematurely has nothing to do with social development or intelligence. Premature babies, given the correct healthy attention, will progress the same as a full term baby.

You don't say how old he is at this time. Was he not socialized with other children properly while growing up before school age ?

What year/grade is he in at school? What is his age compared to the other children in the class?

I agree with tickle! I've known multiple people in my life that were born very premature and have grown up to be perfectly normal adults. I highly doubt being born premature has anything to do with his social behavior. It sounds like that is just his personality like it or not. You never did say how old he is. But my guess is he will learn to socialize better as he gets older.
