My boxer has just started to poo and wee in her crate she is 6 months old and it is really getting me down

She is a 6 month old boxer, had you problems up till now, she is really messing in her crate a lot it is really getting me down.

Can you explain what your routine has been up till now. Remember, she is still a youngster finding her way and unless you initiate a firm routine, housebreaking is not going to work. She is telling you she is not happy by messing in her crate, so you two have to find a happy medium so she won't do this.

Does she spend a lot of time in her crate throughout the day and at night ?

I crated my walker hound for a while, basically to calm her down during the day, I made it a comfortable spot for her with a soft blanket, but I never fed her in the crate. This was on a remedial measurement, in the kitchen, door to crate was always open. Eventually, she would just waunder in there herself and sleep with the crate door open. Sort of her own spot in the whole house that was hers alone. This is the way it should be, not a prison.
