I have a 2003 Honda accord EX. I replaced the battery and the radio (I don't have navigation radio cd only) displays code. I read the manual and retrieved my original paperwork for the code requested. I have found this, but when I follow the instructions in the manual which state to use the tuning arrows nothing happens. I made several attempts which finally caused it to error out. I disconnected which reset the radio asking for the code.

What am I doing wrong? If anyone has step by step instructions on how to enter the code to the radio please let me know.

My service tech did it for me but if yours does not its easy and here's how. 1. Turn the ignition to the 1 position 2. Push the on button knob, it will display "CODE" 3. Use the right knob to select the digits 1-9 by turning the knob left to right, once the first number is displayed push the knob to select the first digit, repeat for the remaining 3 numbers. 4. Your done, your radio should now work.
