I followed the rough in instruction when I placed my drain, but now when doing the install it seem that the shower drain has a flexible drain that attaches to the floor drain which turns 90 degrees . My problem is that there is no room for the flexible pipe to enter the drain. I thought that it would discharge straight down into a flexible drain and then into the floor drain. It also has a 1/2 inch discharge for the steam shower. Going to go to a supply house tomorrow to look for a solution, any ideas would be appreciated. "

Perhaps I'[m just dense this morning but none of this makes any sense.
I've installed steam jennys in saunas with tile floors and shower drains. Can you attach a picture of what you're installing. Back to you/

The installation manual is too complicated none specific. It does not have directions for plumbing. My Plummer is a professional and he and his team are having difficulties installing the flexible drain hose to the PVC drain line. Why can the consumer have directions on how to install plumbing for this shower?

The unit comes with a flexible drain hose in which it can be dropped into your sewer hole roughly 1 foot away from the drain hole. You are also able to hard-pipe the unit which most plumbers/contractors chose to do.
