What is a rule of thumb for estimating plumbing installation in a new house? Is $1200 to $1500 per fixture a reasonable range?

It depends on the house how many fixtures, I would take 3 estimates, Thanks.

You're asking for the easy way to estimate a plumbing job. Because each installation is different there is no "One rule fits all jobs". Some jobs have been roughed in for future expansion and others you have ton bust cement to run the drains and then run vents out the roof.
For a plumber to give a estimate based on the number of fixtures without figuring in how much pipe and fittings it would take to drain and supply them is like flying blind.
Figuring a job by the fixture is going to leave someone short. Either the homeowner gets overcharged or the plumber just lost his shirt. Regards, Tom
