Brain function and lack of period
Presumably a lack of a 'period' is associated with menopause. At 20 years of age, I have not had a period for 7 months while previously having heavy and regular periods. I have had an IUD in place for four years now. Scans and blood tests reveal nothing. I am finding myself less social and secure, moody, unable to comprehend text and have trouble finding words to say in a face to face conversation. Could this be the lack of reading/studying along with smoking? I am concerned as I have applied for University next year. Has anyone experienced this? -Miss P

It can be related and then again it might not be. Physical activity and stress can effect your body in many different ways. Have you had your iron checked? How's your eating and sleeping going? Did you change your excersize routine suddenly?

Iron is good, hormones are good, I have decreased my physical activities (I had always been sports orientated until recently due to over exercising being a sign), eating well *that is subjective!* sleeping more now! And yes, exercise changed suddenly
