I am a 46 year old female, I have had dark circles of the side of my cheeks. I have been to the skin specialists, and had no difference, though I've had it for 10 years, please can you help me, as it is very depressing. People say its like bruises on my cheeks.

Did you try peels? Ask your derm about it or find yourself pro cosmetician

What you have is melasma:

"Melasma is a dark skin discoloration that appears on sun-exposed areas of the face. Melasma doesn't cause any other symptoms besides skin discoloration but may be of great cosmetic concern."

You can usually treat it with chemical peels or using hydroquinone creams of 2%.
