    CAN I FREEZE MY HUSBANDS ASSETS, (i.e. 401k, bank accounts, etc) IF WE ARE LEGALLY Separating IN NC?

    When you file for a legal separation, it is at that time that an agreement is written up whereby division of property and assets is discussed. Once this is settled, the separation agreement and everything within becomes law. I don't think it is possible to freeze your husband's assets, and on second thought, if you do, what will you do for money and a domicile.
