What are the chances that the some of the Noma outdoor digital timers are defective?
I am on my second unit in the last week and they don't work. The units appear to have the same programability as the 'Intermatic' units which I have had over the last 5 years.
Use: to turn on/off 7x/day, a 0.025HP ventilation fan installed in a small unheated barn. (Fan has an off/hi/low control between it and the timer which is left "on low" at all times). The unit is appropriately programmed and set to 'Auto'.
Problem: the timer turns the fan on/off at the designated time BUT simultaneously with the first 'off'' looses ALL its setting either reverts to a flashing 12:00 or a completely blank screen which can only be regained by removing and putting back the battery.
    Solution?
