    Where is the receiver located on the actually ceiling fan?
    The code on the remote was tampered with and I need to sync the remote to the ceiling fan but I do not know where the receiver code is located

    Receiver is inside the canopy 99% of the time. Non eed to drop the fan, loosen the screws around the canopy and give it a slight twist to rexpose the receiver, 99% of the time
