Ive been on probation 7 monthes and failed a urine test at my treatment facility. It was a small amount, but probation officer is processing violation papers. I'm going turn myself in , but want to keep my job. Any chance get released at first appearance

Get an attorney to plead your case. If you cannot afford one, then a public defender is better than nothing.

What do you mean by "turn yourself in"? You don't have to do anything until you are notified by the court.

Regardless of the above, you need to "play the game" and stay clean while you are on probation... but you probably already knew that.

Talk to your PO and get council.

Pre-conviction suspects are entitled to a "first appearance" where bail is considered... Post-conviction convicts, however, are NOT entitled to one. Your first appearance will be before the judge for your violation hearing. It could take them a month or longer to schedule one.
