I have noticed that my husband has been shaving?
He hasn't shaved in 10 years and now all the suddend he is , I couldn't get him to shave for me and now he is getting up early in the morring to shave . What's up with that??

You have been married to him for 10 years and you aren't asking him?

It could be he's tired of his beard, maybe he wants a new look - maybe there's a reason behind his new look.

Ask him. This wouldn't worry me.

Oh no , I all ways asked him to shave . He just started to and for me its strange to see him do it on his own. I asked him who he was shaving for this morring and he said that he has been shaving every day. I don't think so .

So he had a beard that looked like ZZ top? If he did not shave for 10 years.

Then he decided to cut off his extra long beard, then he would shave every day ?

Well obviously your suspicious of him shaving for someone else.

Why---has he ever given you cause to not trust him? Other then shaving more often is he doing anything that is causing your radar to go off. Some men who wear beards or not regular shavers could change their habits if the beard starts to show more grey hair then they like, or if it starts to aggrevate their skin.

And it seems to me that if OP has been asking him to shave for 10 years and now he has, maybe she finally got the message through to him.

He has a girlfriend for sure. People who have beards ALWAYS keep them forever. They HAVE to. It's a rule. I had one once, and when I tried to shave it, I got a visit from the beard wearers union. They told me the only way I could shave is if I find a new girlfriend who doesn't like it. It has to be verified, though. Them's the rules...

After 10 years he wanted a change. That happens.

My husband had a goatee that I couldn't stand. I, however, did ask him why he wouldn't shave it off for me. He simply said, because I like it.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I never had a beard or long hair. This year I just decided I am going to grow a beard and long hair. I haven't shaved or cut my hair since May. All of my in-laws keep asking my wife what's "wrong" with me. And she says nothing he just wants to try it out. So it might just be something he is trying out.

Growing a beard doesn't mean that he didn't shave to keep it trimmed which may be what he means by shaving everyday. It's what my husband does when he has a beard. You may be referring to being 'clean shaven' everyday.

Talk to him. It's the only way you will know why. Oh, and asking who he is shaving for today sounds like you are accusing him of not being faithful. I don't know about him, but if my husband asked a question that sounded like he did not trust me, he probably wouldn't get an answer.

You didn't like his beard, and now since he got rid of it, and keeps it gone, you still ain't happy? Go figure.
