When will I fall in love?
So here's my story : Am 18 years old and Ive never been in love or in a relationship.. Everyone around me had at least experienced it once and I kind of feel sad that I haven't met any special guy with mutual likeness.. I have no idea why its taking too long and am afraid when am finally in one , I would be utterly disappointed because I waited long enough..
There were some guys that liked me and wanted to be with me but none of them actually loved me enough to stick around, cause I really don't open myself up to any guy unless they make an effort, am not shy, its just the way I am..
Am afraid that its going to stay like that for a while, cause its one of those things that I want to try.. falling in love!

They don't love you enough to stick around?
Maybe you should not worry about love and just get to know someone. See if you like them first and that happens spending time and getting to know a person.
Don't worry about falling in love. You have plenty of time for that. Try falling in like.

When you fall for someone you will know. I wouldn't force it or rush it. Your young, enjoy dating. It doesn't mean you have to full in love with anyone.

I think you probably read too many fairytales when you were a kid and believed in happily ever after. And maybe it was made worse by the media and all those hollywood movies that promote the same romantic themes. Add peer pressure into the picture and you probably feel abnormal for not having a boyfriend and experiencing love. Relax. Enjoy yourself. Don't force it. Don't think about it too much. Believe me, you're not missing much. Focus on yourself and your life. Learn to be happy on your own. As the song goes - "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all." There's a lot of wisdom in that.

Lighten up and have fun with people, get to to them as a person, and NOT as a potential romance partner, and maybe someone will be attracted to the fun happy person that you are, and stick around for more.

Love is a process, not an event. Until it finds you enjoy the people that life puts in your life. You never know how things will work out.
