I have an open case with DCFS, my children were removed from my home 3 weeks ago, My social worker called me this morning to tell me she had received a Last Minute Order from court to place my children with my sister or my mother. What does this mean and howw long does it take to release my children to my family ? Please help me asap.

What State?

I don't think the Last Minute Order is a legal term. I think she means the Court decided something at the last minute.

As soon as the papers are in order (and I have no idea how busy the Court is) the children will be placed.
