I left Canada about 5 years ago after a marriage separation, I did default my line of credit, they were not able to contact me, and no payment where made, if I return home (Ontario), the SOL, 2-year rule applies, are they able to sue

They can attempt to collect from you until you die. They cannot sue you once the Statute has expired.
