Hello everyone I am doing sime renos and would like to know if I can tie in cast iron pipe with abs pipe since it is cheaper and easier to work with?

You sure can! To transition to plastic from cast iron use a Shielded Metal Coupling, (see image). Good luck, Tom

Yes you may transition to new abs as long as you use a CP band which stands for cast iron/plastic
