Losing power in a certain part of the house would the breaker be bad?Doesn't happen all the time

Where in house ?

What rooms?

Did u check breakers when u lost power?

Is there a GFI in circuit?

Answer these and we can go from there.

Could be a defective breaker, or a loose connection anywhere in the feeder, panel, junction box, or at a receptacle.

Check breaker that controls that part of house, and make sure wires are tight.
