I was in a woman's blind spot and she side swept me. My whole passenger side is damaged. I called my father and apparently I wasn't insured. I have her info. She has mine's. What do I do? Can I file a claim? If so, is my record affected? This is in the state of CA by the way. Thanks for your advice and support!

First did your father not have insurnce ? Or were you merely not listed, or specificly not covered ?

But you having or not having insurance does not stop you making a claim against the other driver.
