    Sewer line belly
My master bath toilet drain pipe has a belly causing toilet to back up. I have two different plumbing companies camera the line and they both conclude the same. I want to know if can wait later (like a year or several years later) to repair it due to financial reason.

Besides, one plumber tells me that they only break up floor, remove drywall etc to repair the pipe, but will not put them back. Do all the plumber repair pipe like this? Is there any who can do a complete job including put everything back.

    Thanks,
    Chloe

Belly in sewer line is not a good news. Besides the mess the repair will create, it also costs lot of money to have it repaired...

My take on it: you can live with it for some time if you pay attention to what you flush down the toilet. If you have Low Flush Toilet than you should replace flopper with regular flopper so you get more gallons of water per flush. I would also recommend to flush 2x after each use just to make sure sewage is moved as far forward as possible...

Not all plumbers do wall repairs. They do demo, pipe repair and cover up hole in the slab. Homeowner than calls other trades to finish walls, etc. But lots of plumbers will work with homeowners and they will arrange for wall repairs. Just set it as your requirement for giving him the job and you will see you will find one who does it - very quickly...
