I want to dye my hair a light coppery red shade but my hair is two different colors my roots are a natural black and chestnut blonde(light brown)... what is the process I need to take so that my roots and the rest of my hair won't come out two different colors.

You may have to strip your hair color and then dye it the color you want it, that's my opoion
