I would first copy all your documents, photos, music, favorites etc, to disc. Then start from scratch. Anymore I don't think it's a bad Idea to start from scratch, I have NEVER seen anything that really corrects registry/slow process, doesn't mean there isn't, just haven't seen any,
There is nothing guaranting Virus will not be hidden?
