My door starts opening then it starts jerking and bouncing until it is almost all the way up it smooths out. Then again some times will just stop. The tension spring looks fine at least from the out side. What's going on?

The door may have shifted and is hitting track. There should be at least 1/2 inch space between door side and track.

Lubricate rollers and track with lithium grease.

Check the rollers you may have one or more that had become bent or shifted and not parallel with the track.
