My daughter had a semi-permanent color done to her hair at the salon. She's extremely allergic to it. We need to get it out of her hair. Will the Loreals color zap work? No salons are open, so taking her back today to the salon is not an option. Or should we use peroxide, or head and shoulders?

I'm not sure if that will help at all. I have a hair color allergy as well and my doctor had me take benedryl and use olive oil on my hair. I left the oil on for about 30 minutes, then washed it out lightly. Supposedly the oil coats the hair shaft and helps calm the reaction.

If your daughter's reaction is really severe, you may want to check with your family doctor.
