    My husband lost his colombian passport in trinidad and tobago.
    I am a trinidadian and me and my colombianhusband married last year .yesterday he lost his passport in trinidad .and he came here on a student visa but never studied. Does he have to get a go back colombia to get a new passport or can he get it here.

    Before you do anything, he had better report his passport lost, or he may have to deal with identify theft and that would not be good.

    I don't understand where you both are living now. Wherever it is, go to the nearest consulate, report the lost passport and request a new one.
