Can someone explain and give details about how to dress preppy?
One day for school everyone has to. What are some things that make clothing preppy, and what clothing items can be used?

Hmm. I remember magazines like 17 always had pages of outfit examples for "preppy" and all sorts of other labels. It's been a while since I've actually picked up a magazine but I remember there being a lot of mini skirts, cute colored shirts, sometimes with nice patterns.

Vintage preppy? Plaid pleated skirt and matching sweater, circle pin, neat blouse, sweater worn draped over your back with the arms in front with the cuffs turned together like socks. Pageboy haircut. Oxford shirt and crew neck sweater and sports jacket. Argyle sweater and socks. Chinos.

I'm going to wear high socks, with dockers black shoes: they have a heel and are square and can be tied in the middle. And then a plaid Eddie Bauer skirt that's black and white. And then with a light grey Ralph Lauren polo.
