'89Mazda626: 8"x8"x3" chamber suspended from 6" air intake tube between front grill & injectors burst on attempted start-up. Valve job a month ago; been OK since then until now. What is that air chamber called; what purpose does it serve; and what might have caused it to explode? Need to replace it but also need to know the prob and a solution.
