    Tub/Shower surround
I'm currently thinking about removing the tile on the tub/shower surround and donot want to use those thin tub/shower kits. What I want to do is remove all the tile and cut the drywall out so I could use one of those tub/shower surrond walls with the flanges that attach to the studs. I have found a place that sells just the walls and you donot have to buy the tub also.

The model that I would like to use comes to a right angle on the bottom of the walls. My question is that if the bottom of the walls come to a right angle and I rest the walls on my current tub I think that this will be okay as long as I use a good sealant between the tub and the bottom of the wall ? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be OK as long as there are no gaps between the enclosure and the tub. Regards, Tom
