Regular periods than irregular period last month, Pregnant?
I was on the depo shot for many years. The last shot wore off in February of 2010. I was told that it could take up to a year for my hormones to regulate. My husband and I are trying to conceive our first child. From about February until August I have had very normal periods. I could actually chart them on a calendar and within a couple of days I would start as expected. In September I started a week early and it wasn't a normal period. It was much lighter and not as long. Normally they are 5 days in length. The first day is very heavy and a lot of cramping. This last period was light the whole way through. I started on September 13 and on September 15 it was over. On September 25 I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I can't explain it but my body feels different. I have a lot of fluttering in my stomach especially at night when I am lying down to go to sleep. Is it possible that I took the test too early and that I could still be pregnant? Or is it more possible that it is my mind messing with me because I want a child soooo bad? Any advice I would appreciate. Thanks.

It could be either way... sometimes periods are just off for no apparent reason.

Certainly since you have been trying to become pregnant that increases the odds of a pregnancy. See what happens with your period for October then test again if need be. Good luck!
