The both of my parents died while I was younger. I feel like grew up with no direction and times are harder than I ever thought they can be. Right now I am 20 years old and will be 21 soon. I have a daughter and I am behind on all of my bills and I haven't had hours at my fast food restaurant job in 3 months. I am just wondering if there are any type of grants or loans out there that at least help me out a tad bit.

Go to your local public library and tell all this to a reference librarian. He/she will help you locate area and county resources for you. Another avenue is an area social worker who knows all the ropes in the system. If there's a Catholic Charities or Lutheran Social Service office in your area, call them. Google for social workers and your town or county name. Call your village and township and county human resources departments. Let us know what you're finding out.

So far there is nothing I have found. Since Wisconsin is a women and children's state, there isn't much out there for men with children... I hope something happens soon

There HAS to be something for you and your daughter! Does she live with you? If so, where is her mother? Did you check the places I mentioned? What large town or city are you closest to? I will do what I can to find info and help for you.

I will assume the person who raised you received aid to help raise you ?

Next does the child live with you ?

Have you applied for government welfare assistance, food stamps, aid for children ( your child for low income parents)
