Connecting a DVD player with Satellite Dish
I have a 52 inch Toshiba HDTV that is already connected to a DISH network satellite. I would like to connect a DVD player and have no idea how to connect. I may also need help with figuring out which remote I use. Currently I have to use the TV remote that just turns on the TV and the DISH remote for volume and changing of channels:)

You just need to connect the DVD player to one of the available inputs on the back of the television. If available on your DVD player use a "component" connection, which requires connecting three cords for the picture (a red, a green, and a blue plug), and two cords for the sound (a red and a white plug). To watch a DVD use your TV's remote control to select the input to which you have connected the DVD player. Use your DVD remote to control DVD playback. Good luck.
