I went to the hearing a few months ago, now there is the trial which I forgot about. I called the administration office today and someone told me I might be able to delay it if I fax an excuse for not being able to attend before the trial tomorrow morning. Would this work?

Besides being found guilty, what else could happen if it is denied?

They could do a failure to appear warrant, ( the bond will normally be the fine plus costs) it just depends some courts do that, others merely turn it over to collections.
