I have liked this girl for a while, everyone had known I liked her, and I told her my feelings just the other week, and she told me that she loves me as a brother, because I pretty much gave her everything and treated her with the upmost respect any woman should get.

She is a very emotional type of girl where her feelings and emotions have always been fragile, and I've always been there to help her stand on her two feet again, she recently broke up with a relationship and seeing as she is young (16) would her feelings change in a few years if I still be a good friend and such to her ? Or am I wasting my time and should move on,

I'm in love with her personality but I can't seem to find the strength to let go,

Time can change many things, so yes it is possible, but then it may not either, so you both go on and if fate has it, then you may both come back to find each other latter on.

At 16, chances are slim, since she is changing constantly and also planning her life away from home - who knows where she'll go. That's just too young to count on anything (and if you are much older, out of school, the odds are even worse). If you are in love there's not a lot you can do until it runs it's course, but don't 'give her everything' since she has been honest that she's not in love with you, and you need some of that 'everything' for a reciprocated love around the next corner.
