My best friends boyfriend holds her all the time.
Even when I tell me boyfriend I'm cold he will say same it is cold today but he never holds me from behind or anything like that :/
He only ever holds my hand when we walk 2gethha and hugs me at the end of the day :/

Maybe he does not want to hold you. At 13you two don't need to be holding each other any way.
You cannot "get" somebody to do something it is not in them to do.
