My wife has a judgement for non-payment of credit card in PA
We live in PA and Capital One's Attorney's filed a judgement with the local magistrate for non-payment and breach of contract. First I thought there was a law against this in PA?
We are both disabled now and on disability and made attempts to pay but they wanted the whole debt at a reduced cost. We could not afford it on what we are making, we could just about afford our monthly bills. She became disabled after applying for the card, is she still liable? Can they do anything else to her? She thinks they are going to send her to jail and is a nervous wreck. Thank you in advance for any insight you can give us.

There was only a Civil Action issued against her through a magistrate, the attorney for Capital One is from NJ (Paul Klemm). Thanks for all your help.
