How to install telephone line in DSC to communicate an intrusion alert to my mobile?
Hi, I have a DSC PC1832 Panel and PC1555 RKW Keypad & a telephone line and have not installed these yet,
My question is what should I do in order to receive any message or warning from the panel to my mobile whenever an alarm is triggered ?
Does the DSC Panel call me or message me of an intrusion with a telephone line connected , or should I install an auto dialer in order for the panel to contact me on a intrusion occasaion? Please help :) Thank you

You can use their IP communicators, the TL 150 or TL 250:
    IP & GSM Alarm Communicators
For a Dialer, I like these:
    http://www.unitedsecurity.com/pages/dialers.html
Its free monitoring, and allows YOU to listen, press 1 again and you can listen for another minute, press a 2 and you can talk to your house(whoever is in there).
You could have a zone on a timer/timeclock so every day at 3:00 it will call you, you can then listen in and see kids made it home from school OK, or they are Playing when they should be doing their Homework. I don't like to be that snoopy, these are dangerous Times.

You could also buy nothing additional, and enter your cell as the Receivers Number, you will hear tones and not know what they mean, just that something happened.
Then when you get home, you will have to reset the "Failure to Communicate" Trouble .
