It is a odd brown color and very runny.kinda stringy and lumpy.

It could be anything from Parvo to nothing. Puppies dehydrated very quickly.

What does your Vet say?

How old is your puppy? How long with the runs? Call your vet and see what they say.
When my puppy has an upset stomach I feed plain chicken and rice, but my puppy is 5 years old. If it hasn't corrected itself in a day I take him to the vet.
Always make sure they are drinking plenty of water and watch.

I'm just going to echo everyone here, with puppies there is too many possibilities, if the diarreah lasts longer than 24 hours he needs to see a vet. Please make sure he has access to fresh water 24/7, because like Judy mentioned, puppies are at a higher risk of becoming dehydrated, and this can be deadly.

I would also discontinue feeding for 24 hours as well. Is he up to date with vaccines and dewormers and flea treatments?
