    The unit quit heating with everything else (lights, fan, turntable) still working. I did some trouble shooting with the door switches and now everything is dead. The two cylindrical fuses checked good.

    Due to the nature of microwaves we would recommend taking it to a GE authorized repair shop. Short of cord replacement there isn't my a DIYer should attempt. Have you tried plugging something else in that same outlet to test the outlet? Start with that.

    We posted at the same time, I see the outlet is definitely working so skip that test. I'd still take it to GE.
