My pain is on my right side and through to my back, it really jolts me when I move and can sometimes take my breath away, I am also having problems with tummy swelling and my ankles too, I am in remission from malignant melanoma, and I am fed up with just not being right ! Can anyone help?

Your liver is on the right side and if it isn't functioning properly, swelling occurs around the torso, specifically the belly. Swelling could go down the legs as well. Pain will occur. The condition from the liver malfunctioning is call ascitis. Your symptoms are consistent with the condition I have seen in a couple of my clients but not necessarily saying that is the problem with you.

Your should go to your doctor if you had this pain in your right side for more then a week. I don't like the sound of the swelling.
