All right... im 17. Well I just turned 17 and I met this guy and at first I thought he was 16 and he looks like it! I started liking him and him liking me and we got really close and I really liked him. Then I found out he was only 14 years old. I don't know what to do. Even after I found out I told him it was OK and that I still liked him. But I don't know if this is such a good idea. Its not like I can't get guys my age because this guy named jake likes me but I just don't like him like I like the 14 year old... but he's 14... I don't know.. please help me.

I really think that you should wait. See if in a few years you still like him, then perhaps OK.

14 is a little too young to be dating. I realize you aren't 14, but the fact is, he is. The three year difference isn't bad if you are 23 and he were 20. A 14 year old and a 17 year old have different mind sets.

I could be wrong, but I don't think his parents wold be to happy.

I think you should focus more on boys your own age, DATING and fun that is, not sexual.

That's good advise and I will wait. Yeah his mom does know and she's not to happy :( she likes me.. she just doesn't like that him and I like each other. Thanks for the advise I will deff wait :D

My opinion is, if you really like each other... and I mean really really really like each other then you should get a little closer, get to know each others parents first. I'm 19 and dating a 16 year old, me and her love each other, we've been together 10 months on the 10th of October, the way we date is I got to know her parents and she got to know my parents, and her parents have told me that I'm the best boyfriend she's had. I'm not telling you to go right on ahead, but if you think its right then go ahead. But remember get to know the parents before anything else. Also if you do end up dating then make sure you don't do anything sexual in the relationship because if the police find out, your in jail for statutory rape. I know how teens are, because I'm still a teen myself so I know this from experience, but if you do anything sexual then make sure no one finds out, me and my girl aren't doing anything till she turns 17 in April so be careful.

This is not very good advice to tell her. She is 17 and HE is 14. It's not OK that she is dating a minor. They are at completely different mind sets.

As far as you and your girlfriend, 16 even 17 is still a minor. So if you do anything sexual with her, YOU can get in trouble.
